Narciso Rodriguez was born in 1961 in the United States into a family of Cuban origin. Narciso Rodriguez worked for different brands such as Cerruti and Calvin Klein, before launching his own brand in 1997. In the same year, he was appointed creative director of the Spanish luxury brand Loewe. In 2004, he launched his first women's perfume, a very musky modern sandalwood simply called "for her". His first male perfume, "for him", was launched in 2007.
