Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution of The Ordinary is a topical treatment for acne and skin imperfections. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxycidal that penetrates the poros of the skin and helps exfoliate the dead cells of the skin, reducing the obstruction of the pores that can lead to the emergence of acne and blackheads. In addition, salicylic acid helps reduce inflammation and redness associated with acne.

Active ingredients:
The main active ingredient of Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution is 2% salicylic acid. In addition, the product contains other ingredients, such as dimethyl Isosorbid, a solvent that helps improve salicylic acid absorption through the skin.

Texture and skin type:
The Ordinary's salicylic acid solution has a light, non-oily texture, which is easily absorbed by the skin. It is recommended for oily and prone skin, but can be used by any type of skin.

Target Audience:
This product is suitable for people who suffer from acne and blackheads, and seek effective treatment to improve skin appearance and texture. It is also recommended for those looking for a water-free product with high stability.

Complementary products:
SALICYLIC ACCIDE 2% ANHYDROUS Solution can be used in conjunction with other The Ordinary products to create a complete skin care routine. It is often combined with niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% to help control skin greasiness.
